THE BRIEF
An UI/UX study to support the relaunch of an online game had been scheduled when Jakarta announced the partial lock-down due to COVID-19. The client couldn’t delay the relaunch, so we took on the challenge and adapted the research methodology.
OUR APPROACH
We did online interviews using 2 different apps, ‘Lookback’ to observe the UI/UX and ‘Zoom’ to observe the bodily movements and facial expressions. While there was remote moderation and simultaneous translation for the clients who were viewing live.
OUTPUT
The clients were able to view the fieldwork and they could confidently continue with the relaunch of the new online game.
